Basic tools and materials used in Screen Printing Process
Screen Printing is one of the oldest methods of printing, where we need to transfer a stencil design into the mesh .This printing method is call screen printing process.
The most common tools and materials required in this process are:
Screen printing machine, Exposing unit, Dryer, conveyer belt or Heat press machine
• Film positive, where the artwork has been created.
• Mesh or screens
• Wooden or Aluminium Frames
• Photo emulsion
• Scoop coater
• Squeegee
• Plastisol inks, water based inks , pvc inks, non- pvc inks etc ;
• Stripper or de-coater
• Curing paper
These are the basic materials required to start the screen printing process.
